ABOUT ME
I'm Emily!

My Story
Born in Israel, grew up in Florida, and moved back to Israel for college. I earned a BA in Business Administration, served two years in the Budget Office of the Israel Air Force, and watched my mom live out the last years of her life before moving back to the US.
I can't believe it took me until I was 30 to move to Alaska, but now I can't imagine living anywhere else. I've put my everything into making our little town better from the moment I got here, and I don't intend to stop.
In Juneau
Since moving to Juneau, I've worked for the State of Alaska, in City Hall, at the Sheiyi Xaat Hit Youth Shelter, and even done a little kitchen work with the Goldbelt Tram. I've lived downtown and in the Mendenhall Valley. I've volunteered to serve on the boards of Congregation Sukkat Shalom and the Southeast Alaska LGBTQ Alliance (which I currently chair), as well as the Juneau Human Rights Commission.

I've done my best to see Juneau from as many angles as I can, to understand it from as many perspectives as I can. And if the voters of Juneau select me to represent them on assembly, I will continue to ensure that every perspective is heard and understood.
